Room 8 structured their assembly around persuading us that St Mary MacKillop College needs an annual Talent Quest. MCs Eli and Ari hosted the show, as students performed their various talents before the four student judges dressed up as Mrs Paini, Mrs Clews, Mr Nankivell and Mr Norton.
Acts included dancing, singing, juggling, comedy, puppet shows and instrumental based performances. They finished with a finale song by Heather Small called 'Proud'. The Year 3 students communicated the importance of recognising individual and group talents.
The audience applauded, cheered when friends came on stage and bopped to the beat of pop music. This lively, engaging and inspirational performance received a positive response from peers, staff members and parents. The main message was to be proud of who you are and show off your talents - an important reminder about accepting individuality!
