2018 Graduates Results

College congratulates 2018 graduates on their results

2018 graduates from St Mary MacKillop College once again produced some excellent results, with a 98% VET Achievement and eight students obtaining an ATAR over 92. Of our ATAR students, 92% received an offer from a public university, with a further nine students also receiving early offers from the University of Notre Dame.

Our highest achievers in ATAR were 2018 Dux of the College and Proxime Accessit. Ben Salmond achieved an ATAR of 99.15, and Brendan Webster earned 97.7. “I felt confident I could achieve great results if I worked hard”, said Ben before the exams last year, attributing no small part of his academic success to the College’s high quality and passionate teachers in Maths and Science.

Brianne Robinson-Ellis was awarded a Subject Certificate of Excellence in Mathematics Applications for achieving an examination mark in the top 0.5 per cent of candidates in this ATAR course.

Awards for Consistent School Achievement – Certificates of Merit and Distinction

Certificates of Merit and Distinction are awarded to eligible students who show consistently high results in units studied over Years 11 and 12. Points are accrued and Certificates of Merit are awarded to students with 150-189 points and Certificates of Distinction to those with 190-200 points.

Certificates of Distinction were awarded to Ben Salmond, Brianne Robinson-Ellis and Chloe Pickering.

Certificates of Merit were awarded to Lucie Bray-Rudkin, Matilda Cann, Mabel Cudmore, Amber Hall, Isobel Norris, Zoe Sleator, Gabriella Ward and Brendan Webster.

With a median ATAR of 78.75 and 94.68% WACE graduation, the College congratulates all our 2018 graduates on their great results.
