This is a full-time, temporary position for Semester 2 2025
A St Mary MacKillop College teacher encourages each student to discover and develop their interests and talents in order to become the best they can be. Providing innovative and best practice teaching, students will grow and develop lifelong learning attributes.
Reporting to the Head of Primary the role of a St Mary MacKillop College teacher is to plan, organise and deliver educational programs, modelled within the Catholic Ethos, in a positive learning environment.
The successful applicant will have:
- A relevant 4 year tertiary qualification in Primary Education.
- Accreditation (or working towards) to teach Religious Education.
- A deep understanding of upper primary curriculum.
- Willingness to promote and support Catholic values as a member of the St Mary MacKillop College community.
- Current Teachers Registration.
- Current Working with Children Check.

- Is a vibrant, passionate and enthusiastic educator.
- Provides a nurturing and supportive environment inspiring students to develop a love of learning.
- Has proven experience teaching using Explicit Instruction pedagogy.
- Is competent with the use of technology in the classroom, online strategies and digital process software.
- Possesses teamwork skills that contribute to productive working relationships and outcomes.
