When the weather turns cold and wet, sometimes you just want somewhere warm and dry… and quiet.
Mindful Mondays in the library has been operating since August last year, providing a space for primary students to sit and read or do mindful colouring in - with no talking.
This week we also added Chess & Checkers Tuesday, which was an instant hit. Two chessboards and one checkers board are currently available, with the possibility to provide more as interest builds and students take the opportunity to teach others how to play.
A large Jigsaw puzzle is out on a table in the Library for the students to work on during lunchtime as well. We are slowly putting together a very busy and very big map of Australia, so students are welcome to pop in and help.
The Primary campus Library is open at lunchtimes from Monday to Thursday.
