Cast of ‘Annie Jr’ announced

After some impressive auditions and much deliberation, the cast list is out for St Mary MacKillop College’s 2017 production of ‘Annie Jr’.

Last month around 80 students from Years 6-12 have auditioned for roles in the stage show. Each student had to prepare selected lyrics from the ‘Annie’ song list, memorise lines of dialogue and learn a choreographed dance to be performed in small groups. While not all students who auditioned were able to secure a role in the production, the courage to audition in the first place, coupled with the enthusiasm and talent evident was most impressive, and we commend all those who put themselves forward for auditions.

A large cast has been selected, with the intention of giving as many candidates as possible an insight into a full-scale production process and an exhilarating performance experience on the St Mary MacKillop College stage.
