We were blessed with beautiful weather for the recent Milo T20 Cricket carnival at Hay Park, Bunbury. St Mary MacKillop College was represented by four teams, who all performed with commendable skill and enthusiasm, and displayed great sportsmanship throughout the day.
The Year 7 team played well against older and more experienced opposition, and were ably coached and managed by Year 11 students Damon Greaves and Jack Marrell.
Our Year 8 team won all four of their matches, while the Year 9 team experienced mixed results, showing great spirit as the youngest team in the Year 9/10 age group. Our Year 10 team also displayed passionate enthusiasm with their loud, vocal encouragement entertaining the opposition and spectators alike. Thank you to Mrs Donna Codalonga, Mr Paul Culnane and Ms Sandy Smith for managing these older teams.
