2016 graduates celebrate excellent ATAR results

While we know the ATAR & WACE results form only part of the wonderful St Mary MacKillop College education, the data has been published - and we couldn't be prouder.

St Mary MacKillop College is the second highest ranked rural school in Western Australia, placing 29th overall in the ‘League Tables’ published in January based on ATAR scores.

2016 Dux Rohan Webster, Proxime Accessit Claire Curtin and Head Girl Madison Davies topped the College’s 2016 results, with fifteen MacKillop graduates achieving an ATAR over 90. Our average ATAR of 84.65 from the 62 graduates who sat the exams in November is also well above the State average of 80.

We congratulate all our graduates on their achievements, including those who successfully completed Certificate courses and VET pathways. Thank you also to parents, teaching and support staff in our community for their dedication and commitment to the education of these remarkable young men and women.

These exceptional results, while significant, are only one aspect of our holistic approach to education, which equips students to realise their unique potential.

Our aim is that students also graduate with a sense of purpose, a growing confidence in the contribution they can make to the world, and a commitment to helping others.
