Year 6 students enjoy MacKillop Day

This year, for the first time, the Secondary campus invited Year 6 students to join in their MacKillop Day celebrations following the College Mass.

After recess Mr Norton came over and collected the two Year 6 classes, who joined in with the Year 9 students manning rides on the oval: the bungy run, gladiators and mechanical bull.

From there, the students participated in the sausage sizzle, and then took some time to wander through the others stalls and activities. Students and staff running the stalls were more than happy to welcome the younger visitors, and offered plenty of opportunities to join in all the fun of the day.

After lunch, the Year 6 classes returned to the gymnasium, where they enjoyed the traditional Red Faces concert. Talents on display included rock bands, comedy routines, amazing vocals and the rap stylings of Italian exchange student, Elia Pergola.
