The Student Council Arts representatives invited Year 6 and 7 students to participate in a chalk drawing competition on the old courts last Thursday, with the aim of building House Spirit.
Over 50 students participated in total, with Russell and Kelly gathering the biggest turn out.
It was an energetic atmosphere with 6s and 7s getting involved and having a go. “There was bizarre creative licence by some,” said Student Council Coordinator Miss Woodhall-Jones, “But they put everything they got out of the House identity launch into their drawings.” Some cleverly drawn characters and illustrations spread across the old court surface relating to the four House mascots, key values and slogans.
Student Council members judged the winners to be the Blue bunch from Kelly House, awarding them 250 points, with Russell (yellow) getting 50 points for second place.
