Surf Lifesaving success at Country Championships

Students from the College returned from the Surf Lifesaving Country Championships at Secret Harbour recently with a number of medals for their respective clubs.

For Busselton SLSC, Maddison Johnston-Walker won silver medals in the under 14s Surf Race, Ironman and Tube Rescue, while her brother Angus picked up a silver in the Ironman and bronze in both the Surf and Board races. They also won bronze medals in the under 14 Cameron and Board relays along with Kieran McPharlin, whose sister Caitlin brought home a silver medal in the Open Female Beach Relay, finishing fourth in all her other events. Year 7 Lucy Hill also won bronze in her 1km Beach run.

Well done also to Hannah Greenfield, Naomi Hill, Isla Trovato, Chelsea Rourke, Nicholas and Tenille Pavlinovich and all other students who competed at the carnival.
