During our MacKillop Day celebrations the College took time to announce the new Head Boy and Head Girl for 2017. These students will take up their post at the beginning of Term Four this year, when our current Year 12 students graduate.
Congratulations to Delaney Wilson and Riordan O’Shea, who were appointed by the Principal Mr Chris Wallace after an application and interview process. “The calibre of applicants was very high this year, and I commend both Riordan and Delaney for their attitudes towards service, participation in all aspects of College life and the great example they have already set to fellow students”, said Mr Wallace.
Both students are excited about this opportunity to lead the student body into 2017. “We look forward to following the example of the leaders we have had in the past”.
The remainder of the Student Council for 2017 will be elected by their year group as representatives of the student body. Elections will take place later this term, and students are being urged to nominate.
