2016 ACC Athletics Carnival ‘D’ Division

The St Mary MacKillop College Athletics squad left at 5am for Perth to compete in the ACC ‘D’ Division Athletics Carnival, which was held at the State Athletics Centre, Challenge Stadium on Monday 12 September.

Congratulations to Harris Craig for his individual achievements, placing in the top four in three of his individual events at the carnival. Harris was named 4th Placed Competitor in the U/13 Male Category.

Congratulations must also go to all students who stepped in to replace sick or injured athletes on the day of the carnival.

We would like to thank the following staff who gave their time and efforts to make sure that the students were well prepared: Mr Paul Culnane, Mr Andrew Culnane, Mr Ben Horrocks, Ms Morgan Stark, Mr Miles Armstrong, Mr Mark Taylor, Mr Paul Northover as well as Ms Sandra Smith for all her hard work and organisation for the carnival. We would like to sincerely thank all the students who made the effort to attend training each afternoon in a busy time of the year, many of whom had other sporting, school, work and family commitments to attend to.
