Our Week 9 Assembly was co-ordinated by Mrs Magee and the Year 5s from Room 16, who showcased what they have been learning recently all about whales. The students had lots of fascinating facts to share about Orcas, Minkes, Sperm, Grey and Blue Whales among others.
They even shared a catchy song about whale sounds by indie band Said the Whale, parodied from Ylvis’ 2013 Norwegian novelty hit “What does the fox say?”
To conclude their assembly, the Year 5s donned nun’s habits to perform a delightful rendition of Sister Act’s ‘My God’ (My Guy).
