Year 12 students give blood

On Wednesday 7 September a group of Year 12 students travelled up to the Bunbury Red Cross Donation Centre to volunteer for their first ever blood donation. After a series of checks, which included finding out their height, weight and blood type, the students each donated just under half a litre of blood and then enjoyed sandwiches, juice and chocolates in the recovery room.

One in every three people you know will need a blood donation at some time in their life. This group's donation alone can help save up to 36 lives. We hope these students will continue to become regular donors and inspire others to also start donating.

Do something special. Give blood.
