Bionic Hand competition results

Congratulations to Locklan Lee-Perkins and Rohit Wagh for winning the $50 prize in the recent Bionic Hand competition during Science Week.

Students had a lot of fun designing and creating their bionic hands, which were then put through their paces. The hands were tested for a variety of tasks, including making hand signals and picking up different sized balls, drinking straws and other items.

Locklan and Rohit’s bionic hand was judged the most functional, but all students who entered should be commended for the time and effort they put into this challenging task over several lunchtimes.
