On Wednesday 19 October our Year 12 students celebrated their graduation with a Mass at Our Lady of the Bay Church, followed by supper in St Joseph’s Hall.
The Mass began with the procession of graduating students and a candle ceremony, recognizing the light from parents, College staff and executive, as well as the remaining student body passed onto our graduates to take out into the world.
After Mass students received their graduation certificates, and the Year 12 Course Award winners were also acknowledged followed by a power point presentation of baby photos of our graduates. Students, staff, family and friends then entered St Joseph’s Hall, which was brightly decorated with the theme of international travel. The Year 12 students gathered on the stage to watch the outgoing Head Boy and Head Girl cut the cake, and were surprised with a flash mob performance by parents. Everyone then enjoyed a light supper served by our new Student Council.
