It was a busy Week Five for a group of Year 10 students who elected to participate in Try-a-Trade Week: completing a number of building and construction activities at our off site facilities in the Busselton Trade Training Centre.
Students spent the week working towards their White Card certification and learning how to set out and lay bricks and brick pavers while constructing a courtyard. They also completed a range of carpentry activities and gained valuable construction industry skills that included erecting and dismantling scaffolding to a height of 3.2m.
All students worked well completing their tasks and demonstrated excellent teamwork throughout the Try-a-Trade Week activities.
