Year 11s enjoy highly anticipated Arabian Night

On Friday 25th of August, the Year 11 students enjoyed a night of dancing and socialising at their annual Spring Fling. There was plenty of excitement and enthusiasm for this highly anticipated event, as the students arrived in their finest attire and entered the Arabian themed night.

Students enjoyed the dance floor, lolly bar and photo booth all night long, and prizes were awarded to the most enthusiastic dancers. The professional and enthusiastic Spring Fling Committee worked their magic in transforming the Studio into a very impressive venue. The vision for the evening, and the generosity of time given to ensure the event was a success, was very much appreciated.

Thank you to all the helpers on the night, including Year 9 students Naomi and Lucy Hill, DJ and lighting maestros Morgan Flower (Year 12) and Alastair Bruce (Year 10), the staff that attended and the parent committee members who helped set up and pack away.

A huge thank you also to all the parents who donated or hand-made the phenomenal decorations for the evening. A big thank you to the following families who donated prizes for the evening: chocolates from the Ward and Griffiths families, hair vouchers for Passion for Hair Dunsborough and the Coutanche-Smith family, and perfumes from Janine Darnell and Terry White Chemmart in Bunbury.

On behalf of the students of Year 11 and myself, we are very thankful for all the support in making this evening one to remember!
