During lunchtime all this week, in keeping with the Book Week theme of ‘Australia - story country’, the Primary campus library welcomed a variety of guest speakers to tell their stories about living in, or coming to, Australia.
On Monday Shirley Kendall spoke about growing up in Busselton, and Wednesday lunchtime we had a visit from Sister Bernadette, who talked to students and staff about her life as a sister around Australia.
Father Nick intrigued students on Tuesday with his life in the Philippines as one of twelve children, and his journey from ‘naughty’ boy to priest in Australia.
Book Week culminated on Friday morning with a big, colourful parade of book characters – well done to students, parents and staff for putting in such a massive effort.
