Forty five of our top performing students in athletics from Years 4-6 headed to Bunbury on Thursday to represent the College in the SWPSA 2016 Interschool Athletics Carnival at Hay Park.
The selected students had been training before school twice a week to prepare for the carnival, and they all performed extremely well on the day.
There were some outstanding performances from our students, including Sabella Banks in Year 4, who placed first in long jump and triple jump as well as the A Division 100m and 200m races for Year 4 girls. The College also enjoyed an amazing finish to the day, placing first in both Year 4 and Year 5 relays and third in Year 6.
Well done to all the students who competed, and thank you to everyone who contributed to making this carnival a success, including staff (Miss Ellie Haines, Mrs Vanessa Philp, Miss Lisa Evans, Mr Paul Culnane, Mrs Jo Paini, Mrs Sandra Liddle and Mrs Tracey Parry) and our Year 9 and 10 students who assisted on the day.
