A selection of our best swimmers in Years 4-6 competed in the SWPSA Interschool Carnival at the South West Leisure Centre in Bunbury on Thursday 23 March. All students participated brilliantly and were proud to represent the College against nine other schools from Australind to Albany.
MacKillop students earned ribbons in over half the events, including wins for Year 4 boys in 50m freestyle, breaststroke and backstroke races, and for Year 5 girls in 50m breaststroke and backstroke.
Our 4x50m freestyle relay teams also produced some excellent results, with a second place for the Year 6 boys, third for Year 5 girls, and both our Year 4 teams finishing fourth.
Sports Co-ordinator Mrs Ellie Haines was very proud of the students and their performances. “It’s safe to say the day was a success!”
