ANZAC Day community involvement and assembly

The College gathered on the first day of term, Monday 24 April, to remember those who served Australia through the many conflicts that have occurred around the world. We were very fortunate to welcome Mr Robert Wood, President of the Busselton RSL, to speak to our students and lead us in the Ode to ANZACS.  We prayed for the men and women of our armed services who gave of themselves to protect our country and to strive for world peace.

On Tuesday 25 April, a number of students represented St Mary MacKillop College in the annual ANZAC Day March in Busselton. Many other students also marched representing other community service groups, including Cadets, Surf Life Saving and Scouts.
