Late last term the Year 4 students in Room 12 gathered in the Multipurpose Room for popcorn and movies. These movies were a collection of animated films created by the students themselves, with help from Year 9 English students.
The topics illustrated in each film related to the Values Education unit being covered in Health. The students have been working with Year 9 students over the last four weeks to discuss topics, learn about animation and put the films together.
The students made the movies on their IPads using the Legomovie App, as part of the 1-1 iPad program in Year 4. The children greatly enjoyed the experience of peer tutoring and learning.
