The Primary campus choir performed in the WA Performing Arts Eisteddfod on Friday 17 June at the Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre. The students from Years 3-6 proudly represented the College, and were invited to exhibit their talents again at the Gala Finale Concert on Saturday 25 June.
Mrs Janine Milicich had spent many extra hours rehearsing with the children, with Mrs Carmelina Clifton-James performing alongside the choir as pianist. We are very thankful to Mrs Clifton-James, who has also provided the live music for our Primary campus Masses and sacramental celebrations at Our Lady of the Bay Church.
After a final practice performance in the hall for the Primary school, Mr Phil Magee and Mrs Helen Rabjones accompanied the choir to Bunbury, with Mrs Paula Stronach also lending her hairstyling expertise to ensure the students were well presented. Congratulations to the students who did a wonderful job performing live on stage, and thank you to all the parents who came along to support the choir.
