This assembly related to topics we had been looking at in class, including learning how to bounce back from tricky situations with Mrs Power. We all sang well, we danced, we introduced and addressed our assembly and we also ran the computers and the whole assembly by ourselves.
The first act was True Colours. It sounded gorgeous and loud, and was all about being yourself. We have been singing True Colours with Mrs Magee to express the best colours inside you and to not be afraid to be yourself. Well done to Hayley, Chase, Gabrielle, Millie, Mia and Olivia for their parts in this performance.
The second act, in the Green Room, was funny but educational, and taught us many individual facts about North and South America. A highlight of our assembly was how well everyone did in the Green Room, including Gabi, Alice, Claire and Milly as the introducers, and Rosie, Kyran and Macca as the Green Room Hosts.
The last act was Let It Grow. It was a fun dance to end our assembly but it still delivered a great message. Let It Grow was about standing up for what is right, and everyone had a little laugh as well. Well done to Mia, Macca, Gabrielle, Reed, Olivia, Kyran, Sabella and Sami for performing the main parts.
We all enjoyed it and had a blast. Finally, well done to Bryce and Isaac, our computer experts.
