On Thursday 19 September, students from Mr Clark and Mrs Harslett’s Year 6 classes invited parents and guests to attend their 2019 Asia Summit in the Multipurpose Room.
The Summit was a culmination of the learning students have undertaken this term about the continent of Asia. Students teamed up to host stalls and present a wealth of information about countries as diverse as Indonesia, Japan, Singapore and Bangladesh. Each stall provided visitors with demographics, geographic details and other statistics about their selected Asian country.
Students also created colourful displays showcasing their flag and the culture of each country, and shared delicious culinary treats from noodles to coconut ice. A great time was had by all hosts and visitors.
