Year 12 MacKillop student Marcus Lazic-Dawes played in a strong representative team from the South West Football League who returned as Colts champions from the Landmark Country Football carnival during the holiday break.
Competing over three days, the SWFL Colts defeated Regional Districts and Northern Suns on Friday before losing to Great Southern on Sturday.
Faced with a rematch against Great Southern Storm on the Sunday, South West managed to stay ahead for most of the game, before pulling away in the final quarter to triumph 9.5.59 to 6.7.43.
