Monster Book Fair

On Wednesday 25 May, our Primary campus held its annual Scholastic Book Fair family night. This year we also welcomed Dymocks and Barefoot Books to join us in this massive ‘Monster’ themed event for the whole family.

So many students, parents and staff revealed their inner ‘monster’ on the night, turning out in a wide range of colourful and creative costumes.

National Simultaneous Story Time: I Got This Hat

On Wednesday 25 May our Primary students took part in the National Simultaneous Story Time, when the nation comes together once a year to read a picture book at the same time. This Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) initiative is co-ordinated nationwide to promote the value of books, reading and literacy. At 11:00am the College joined over 3,600 schools, libraries, childcare centres, preschools and communities across Australia to read the delightful ‘I Got This Hat’ by Jol and Kate Temple, illustrated by Jon Foye, with over 525,000 adults and children taking part this year.
